Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

For a day look, I’d throw on a crisp white linen shirt, unbuttoned, with the one-piece underneath. Add a pair of wide-leg trousers or a denim skirt, and you’ve got an easy street-style vibe. The square neckline is perfect for layering delicate gold chains—it frames the collarbone beautifully. I always finish with a woven tote and oversized sunglasses.

As the sun sets, swap the linen shirt for a lightweight kimono or a sheer sarong tied at the waist. Change into strappy slides or raffia mules, and add a statement earring. The high-cut leg means you can go longer on the hem of your cover-up—it won’t look bulky. I tell clients to treat the swimsuit like a bodysuit; it’s the anchor, and everything else is just a layer.
