Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula
From day to sunset, this one-piece is a chameleon. At noon, I’ll layer a crisp white linen shirt over it, unbuttoned and knotted at the waist, with raffia mules and oversized sunnies. That’s your beach-to-brunch moment. Come late afternoon, swap the shirt for a sheer kaftan or a sarong tied high on the hip, and add a wide-brim hat. The suit’s clean lines mean it never fights with your cover-up—it anchors the look.
For accessories, keep it minimal: a delicate gold chain or a single shell pendant at the neckline, and a woven tote. Avoid heavy jewelry that might tangle or pull at the Lycra. At sunset, trade the mules for strappy leather slides—preferably in a metallic or nude tone—and let the suit’s silhouette do the talking. A light spritz of sea-salt spray in your hair, and you’re ready for a beachside dinner. The key is to treat the suit as a top, not just swimwear, and style it with the same intentionality as a bodysuit.
