Tailoring the Line to Your Frame

Let’s talk proportions. On a pear-shaped body, the high-cut leg is your best friend—it showcases the hip line without adding bulk. For an athletic or rectangle frame, the square neckline adds the illusion of width at the shoulders, creating a subtle hourglass. If you’re petite, keep the leg cut moderate—too high can overwhelm. If you’re tall, you can go a touch higher. And for those with a larger bust, the underbust band is key; it should sit snugly, not dig in, and the square neckline offers support without the dreaded ‘shelf’ effect.

Color-wise, I lean into matte neutrals—deep navy, espresso, or a rich olive—because they read as luxury and photograph beautifully. But don’t shy from a bold saturated tone like terracotta or electric cobalt if it speaks to you. The rule? Match the tone to your skin’s undertone. Warm undertones glow in earthy hues; cool undertones pop in jewel shades. And remember, a high-cut leg in a solid tone is slimming, while a contrasting side panel can add curve where you want it.

✦ Choosing Your Best Variation

  • Monochrome Onyx & Espresso: Creates the longest, sleekest runway column with zero visual interruption.
  • Warm Ivory & Champagne Bronze: Softens angular shoulders and catches golden-hour light beautifully.
  • Structured Contrast Trim: Draws the eye directly to the collarbone and waist.
