Tailoring the Line to Your Frame

Let’s talk proportions. If you have a longer torso, this high-cut style is your best friend – it visually shortens the distance between your shoulders and hips, creating a balanced, athletic look. For those with a shorter torso, I’d suggest a slightly lower leg cut to avoid overwhelming your frame. And if you’re pear-shaped, the square neckline adds width to your shoulders, evening out your hips.

In terms of color, this matte lycra in a deep, rich tone – think espresso, forest green, or midnight blue – is universally flattering. It creates a continuous line that slims and streamlines. If you’re feeling bold, a ribbed jersey in a bright coral or electric blue can add a playful energy. The key is to pick a shade that complements your skin tone and makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

✦ Choosing Your Best Variation

  • Monochrome Onyx & Espresso: Creates the longest, sleekest runway column with zero visual interruption.
  • Warm Ivory & Champagne Bronze: Softens angular shoulders and catches golden-hour light beautifully.
  • Structured Contrast Trim: Draws the eye directly to the collarbone and waist.
