Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

From day to sunset, this one-piece is a chameleon. In the morning, I’d throw on a sheer white linen shirt, unbuttoned, with a pair of flat leather slides and a woven tote. For the beach, it’s the swimsuit itself with a wide-brim hat and oversized sunglasses. The matte finish doesn’t cling to sand, and the ribbed jersey dries quickly, so you’re never sitting in a damp suit at lunch.

Come golden hour, swap the slides for a raffia mule with a low heel, add a longline kimono in a complementary tone, and layer on some delicate gold chains. The square neckline is perfect for a pendant necklace—it frames the collarbone. If the evening turns breezy, tie a lightweight cashmere wrap around your shoulders; the contrast of soft knit against the structured swimsuit is pure editorial polish.
