Protecting the Drape & Finish

Leather and suede slides are an investment, so treat them well. After each wear, wipe the soles with a damp cloth to remove dirt, and use a soft brush on suede to lift any marks. Store them in a dust bag or box, away from direct sunlight, to prevent fading. If they get wet, let them air-dry naturally—never near a heater—and apply a waterproofing spray before the first wear for extra protection.

When packing for a trip, stuff the slides with socks or tissue to help them hold their shape, and place them in a separate compartment to avoid scuffing other items. In your capsule wardrobe, these slides are the workhorse: they pair with denim, trousers, skirts, and dresses, so they’ll earn their place. With a little care, they’ll become your go-to for every street shoot, season after season.
