Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

Day to sunset, this piece is a chameleon. Start with a sheer linen shirt unbuttoned over it, a pair of oversized sunglasses, and flat raffia slides. You’re beach-ready but polished. As the sun drops, swap the shirt for a tailored blazer—yes, over a swimsuit—and add a gold chain belt at the waist. That’s your dinner look. I keep a wide-brim hat in my tote for the walk back; it adds drama and protects your face.

For accessories, think sculptural: a chunky resin bracelet, a woven tote, and strappy leather sandals. Avoid delicate jewelry—the strong neckline wants something with presence. If you’re going to a beach bar, a sheer kaftan over the top works, but keep it open at the sides to show the high cut. And for sunset, a silk scarf tied at the neck adds a touch of Riviera glamour.
