Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

From day to sunset, this one-piece transitions like a dream. In the morning, I’d throw on a loose linen shirt—unbuttoned, sleeves rolled—and slide into leather sandals. That’s your coffee run or market stroll. For the beach, ditch the shirt and add a wide-brim straw hat and oversized sunglasses. The suit is the star, so keep accessories minimal: a delicate anklet or a single cuff on the wrist.

As the sun dips, swap the sandals for a raffia mule with a slight block heel, and add a silk sarong tied low on the hips. If you’re heading to dinner, throw on a cropped linen jacket and switch to gold hoop earrings. The key is layering without bulk—the one-piece is your base, so everything else should skim, not cling. Trust me, you’ll get more compliments in this suit than in any dress.
