4. Fabric Care, Longevity & Final Capsule Edit
Welcome to Page 4 of 4 of my guide on The Sculpted One-Piece: Studio 63's High-Cut Slice of Summer. Once you have the right fit, keeping the fabric texture and elasticity pristine takes just two simple habits.

Protecting the Drape & Finish
Italian Lycra is a luxury, and it demands respect. Always hand-wash in cold water with a gentle, phosphate-free detergent—never wring, just press the water out. I keep a dedicated travel-size bottle of fabric conditioner in my studio to keep the ribbed jersey soft and the Lycra’s elasticity intact. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight, because UV rays are the enemy of color and stretch.
For packing, roll the one-piece in a silk pouch, not a plastic bag—it prevents creases and lets the fabric breathe. If you’re heading to multiple climates, this suit doubles as a bodysuit under high-waisted trousers or a denim skirt, so it earns its suitcase space. And in your capsule, rotate it with two other swim pieces to let the fibers recover. Treat it like a tailored garment, and it will serve you for many seasons—I’ve had clients come back years later, still wearing the same FacWear piece from our early collections.
