Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

From morning to sunset, this piece is a chameleon. Start the day with a sheer linen shirt over it, unbuttoned, and slide on flat sandals—that’s your market run. By noon, tie the shirt at your waist and add a wide-brim hat for sun cover. For the golden hour, swap the sandals for a strappy leather slide or a raffia mule, and layer on a long pendant necklace that hits just above the neckline. I always tell my clients: think of the swimsuit as a bodysuit. It tucks into high-waisted trousers or a flowing midi skirt like a charm.

Accessories should stay minimal—gold or shell, never too many chains. A woven tote and oversized sunglasses complete the look. If the evening turns breezy, throw on a cropped jacket or a silk kimono; the square neckline holds its shape under layers, so you won’t lose the silhouette. I’ve worn this exact combo from a morning swim in Capri to a late dinner overlooking the marina, and the only change was a quick rinse and a fresh pair of earrings.
