Ribbed knit swimwear is delicate, so I tell my clients to hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent—never wring it. Lay it flat to dry, away from direct sunlight, because the fibers can stretch or fade. If you’re packing it for a trip, roll it instead of folding to prevent creases; the ribbing will bounce back easily.
To keep this piece in your capsule for years, rotate it with other suits—don’t wear it daily. The spandex needs recovery time to maintain its snap. I also suggest storing it in a breathable cotton pouch, not plastic, to avoid moisture buildup. With this care, it’ll stay as sculpted as the day you bought it, ready for every coastal escape.
