Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

From day to sunset, this piece is all about layering. In the morning, I’d pair it with a crisp, oversized linen shirt, unbuttoned just enough to show a hint of the neckline. Add a wide-brimmed straw hat and flat sandals, and you’re ready for a beach walk or a casual brunch. As the sun starts to dip, swap the shirt for a sheer kaftan or a lightweight sarong tied low on the hips, and switch to strappy leather slides.

For accessories, I keep it minimal: a delicate gold chain that sits just above the square neckline, and a woven tote that can hold your sunscreen and a cover-up. The beauty of this suit is that it doesn’t need much—just a swipe of lip color and a pair of statement sunglasses. And if you’re heading to a beach club, throw on a pair of tailored linen trousers and a blazer; the suit becomes a sleek top, and you’re the best-dressed person there.
