Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

From day to sunset, this one-piece is a chameleon. For a beach day, I’d layer a sheer linen shirt over it—unbuttoned, sleeves rolled—and add a wide-brim straw hat. The high-cut leg means you can walk straight from the water to a beachside café without changing. Slip on a pair of strappy leather slides, and you’re effortlessly chic. For a sunset dinner, swap the linen for a tailored white blazer or a silk kimono, add gold hoop earrings, and switch to raffia mules. The swimsuit becomes a bodysuit—no one will know it’s swimwear.

Accessories matter here. I always tell my clients to treat the neckline like a canvas: a delicate pendant or a chunky chain both work, depending on your mood. And don’t forget a high-shine lip balm or a tinted gloss—it pulls the whole look together. The key is to let the silhouette shine. Avoid adding belts or sashes; the clean line is the statement. This is how you go from poolside to party without missing a beat.
