Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

For a day-to-sunset transition, I start with the suit as the hero piece. In the morning, I’ll pair it with a oversized linen shirt in white or sand, left unbuttoned with the sleeves rolled, and slip into flat raffia mules. A wide-brimmed straw hat and tinted sunglasses complete the look. By mid-afternoon, I’ll swap the shirt for a sheer cotton kaftan or a sarong tied at the hip, and switch to strappy leather slides for a more grounded feel.

As the sun sets, the suit becomes a bodysuit. I’ll tuck it into high-waisted linen trousers or a flowing maxi skirt, add a lightweight silk blazer, and finish with gold hoop earrings and a clutch. The key is to keep accessories minimal—let the clean lines of the suit speak for themselves. A swipe of lip color and a tousled low bun are all you need to look effortlessly put-together.
