Protecting the Drape & Finish

This suit is an investment, so treat it like one. After every wear, rinse it in cold water immediately—salt and chlorine are the enemies of lycra. Hand wash with a gentle detergent (I love a drop of baby shampoo in a basin), then lay it flat on a towel to dry, away from direct sunlight. Never wring or twist; that’s how you lose the shape.

For packing, roll it in a silk pouch or a breathable cotton bag—never plastic, which traps moisture. If you’re traveling, pack two suits so you can alternate and let each one rest for a full day. This fabric has memory; with proper care, it’ll hold its structure for years. I’ve had clients come back with suits from three seasons ago that still fit like new, simply because they followed this routine. That’s the beauty of a tailored capsule—it’s built to last.
