Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

From day to sunset, this one-piece is a chameleon. For a daytime look, I’d layer it under a crisp white linen shirt, unbuttoned to the sternum, with a pair of wide-leg trousers and slide sandals. It’s effortless, but the high-cut leg peeking out adds that unexpected edge. For a beach-to-bar transition, swap the trousers for a flowing midi skirt and add a raffia tote and oversized sunglasses. You’ve gone from functional to fashion in under a minute.

Accessories are the punctuation marks. A thin gold chain at the neck draws the eye up, distracting from any midsection worries. A stack of bangles adds movement. For sunset, a silk scarf tied around the waist or as a headband instantly elevates the look. And footwear—always a strappy slide or a raffia mule, never a sneaker with this cut. It keeps the line clean and the vibe luxe.
