For proportion, if you’re petite, keep the high leg but opt for a lower back—it adds length without overwhelming. For curvier frames, the square neckline and high cut work beautifully, but ask your tailor to adjust the side seams so the suit hugs without digging in. The matte Lycra has just enough stretch to contour, while the ribbed jersey adds subtle texture that flatters every angle.
Tone-wise, I love this in deep olive or rich terracotta—they read as neutral yet modern. For a softer look, choose a dusty rose or sky blue. The key is to keep the color solid and let the silhouette do the talking; avoid busy prints that can disrupt the clean line.
