Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

For a day at the beach, I’d layer a white linen shirt over this one-piece, unbuttoned just enough to show the neckline, and slip into flat raffia mules. A wide-brim straw hat and oversized sunglasses finish the look—you’re ready for a seaside lunch without changing. The key is to treat the swimsuit as a bodysuit, not a separate item.

As the sun sets, swap the mules for strappy leather slides, add a gold chain belt at the waist, and throw on a cropped knit cardigan if there’s a breeze. That’s it. You’ve gone from swim to sunset in three moves. I always keep a silk scarf in my bag to tie around the neck or as a headband—it adds a touch of glamour that’s very Capri.
