Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula
For a day at the beach, I keep it minimal: the one-piece, a pair of oversize sunglasses, and a straw sun hat. Slip on a lightweight linen shirt—unbuttoned, sleeves rolled—and you’ve got an effortless cover-up that looks intentional, not thrown together. For footwear, strappy leather slides or raffia mules are my go-to because they transition from sand to boardwalk without missing a beat.
As the sun sets, swap the linen shirt for a silk kimono or a crochet cover-up, add layered gold necklaces, and swap the slides for heeled sandals. The one-piece becomes a bodysuit, so you can go straight to a beachside dinner without changing. That’s the versatility I love—one piece, three looks, zero fuss.
