Tailoring the Line to Your Frame

Proportion is everything here. If you’re pear-shaped, let the high-cut leg be the star—the extra fabric at the hip balances your lower half, and the square neckline adds width to your shoulders. For athletic builds, the sculpted waist creates curves that nature didn’t, and the ribbed jersey adds subtle texture to keep things interesting. I always tell my clients: play with color. This white is a blank canvas, but in a deep olive or terracotta, it becomes a mood.

Torso and waist balance is key—the seam should sit naturally at your waist, not your hips. If you have a longer torso, the high-cut leg will visually shorten it, bringing harmony to your frame. For shorter torsos, the square neckline opens up the chest, making you look taller. And here’s a trick from my Milan days: pair it with a sheer sarong tied on one hip to add movement and a pop of color without breaking the line.

✦ Choosing Your Best Variation

  • Monochrome Onyx & Espresso: Creates the longest, sleekest runway column with zero visual interruption.
  • Warm Ivory & Champagne Bronze: Softens angular shoulders and catches golden-hour light beautifully.
  • Structured Contrast Trim: Draws the eye directly to the collarbone and waist.
