Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

For a day at the beach, keep it minimal. Slip on a sheer linen shirt, unbuttoned, and let it catch the breeze. Add a pair of strappy leather slides and oversized sunglasses—that’s it. The suit is the star, and the linen shirt adds an easy, throw-on elegance. I always tell my clients, ‘Let the suit do the talking; the cover-up is just the whisper.’

As the sun dips, transition to sunset mode. Swap the slides for raffia mules, add a wide-brimmed hat, and drape a lightweight sarong around your hips—not tied, just wrapped and tucked. For accessories, think gold: a chunky chain necklace or a stack of bangles. They catch the last light and draw the eye to your collarbone, which the square neckline already highlights. This is the look that takes you from beach bar to dinner without a second thought.
