Maya’s 3-Piece Capsule Formula

From day to sunset, one suit, three looks. Start with your one-piece, add a sheer linen shirt unbuttoned, and slide into strappy leather slides for a beachside lunch. For a late-afternoon gelato run, swap the slides for raffia mules and add a wide-brim hat. The suit is the hero; the layers are your supporting cast.

As the sun sets, take off the shirt and throw on a lightweight sarong tied low on the hips, plus a pair of gold hoop earrings. Your one-piece now reads as a bodysuit—pair it with high-waisted trousers or a flowing maxi skirt for dinner. This is how you get multiple wears from one piece, and it’s the smartest trick in my capsule wardrobe playbook.
