4. Fabric Care, Longevity & Final Capsule Edit
Welcome to Page 4 of 4 of my guide on The Sculpted One-Piece: Elegance in a Single Stroke. Once you have the right fit, keeping the fabric texture and elasticity pristine takes just two simple habits.

📌 Pin Look
Protecting the Drape & Finish
To keep that matte finish pristine, I always tell clients to rinse the suit in cold water immediately after wearing—salt and chlorine are the enemy. Hand wash with a gentle detergent like Soak or Eucalan, and never wring. Roll it in a towel to absorb excess water, then lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. This preserves the Lycra’s elasticity and color.
For packing, fold the suit with tissue paper between layers to prevent creasing, and pack it in a separate mesh bag. In your capsule wardrobe, this one-piece is a workhorse—pair it with a linen skirt for a beach lunch, or with tailored shorts for a boat trip. With proper care, it will hold its shape for years, making it a worthy investment in your summer rotation.
